Article One - Offices

The principal office of the corporation, hereinafter referred to as the “Corporation”, shall be located at the address set forth in the Articles of Incorporation. The Corporation may have such other offices, either within or without the State of Incorporation, as the Board of Trustees may determine from time to time.

Article Two - Tenets of Faith, Doctrine, and Service

The Corporation accepts the Scriptures as the revealed Will of God, the all sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these fundamental Tenets of Faith and Doctrine.

Section 1 - The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the living, infallible, and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. (II Timothy 3:1-17; I Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

Section 2 - The One True Godhead

The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. We adopt the Apostles’ Creed as follows:

“I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit. I believe in the holy church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen” (John 1:1-5, 10-14; Matthew 28:18-20)

Section 3 - Man, His Fall and Redemption

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness”. But, man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Genesis 1:2-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

Section 4 - The Salvation of Man

(a) Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:24; John 3:3). On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind (Psalm 103:3), being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. For by grace we are saved through faith. (Ephesians 2:8) “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10)

(b) The Evidences of Salvation. The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. (Romans 8:16; I John 3:18-19, 24) The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. “You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16-20)

(c) Faith and Works. Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works in obedience to Christ will determine the rewards in eternity. (Ephesians 2:8-10; Galatians 2:16; II Corinthians 5:10)

Section 5 - Water Baptism

The ordinance of baptism is a sign of our union and commitment to Christ. (Matthew 28:19)

Section 6 - The Lord’s Supper

“And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, ‘This is my body which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” (I Corinthians 11:24-25, 28)

Section 7 - The Body of Christ

We believe that every person in the body of Christ should place the Great Commandments as a priority in their heart: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… Love your neighbor as yourself.” These commands are fulfilled by glorifying God, enjoying Him, and fulfilling His Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations.” These pursuits require personal commitments to live by the truth of God’s Word and to depend on the power of His Spirit. Practically, both the Word and the Spirit call us to a life of Christ-like character, whole-hearted worship, generous giving, unselfish service, and compassionate outreach to the lost. (Matthew 20:26-28, 22:37-40, 28:19-20; II Timothy 3:16-17; Ephesians 5:18-21, 4:12-13, John 4:23-24; Luke 15, 6:38) Section 8 - Moral Conduct

We desire a lifestyle of integrity, high moral conduct and one that deals with sin quickly, humbly, and responsibly. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; I Timothy 1:8-10; Galatians 5-19-25; Proverbs 28:13, I Peter 4:7-11; James 1:21, Matthew 12:31, Ephesians 4:29, Deuteronomy 18:10-11, Matthew 6:15)

Section 9 - Gospel With Skin On It

We believe people are attracted to Jesus when they see the gospel with skin on it. We demonstrate the good news before we share the good news. The Lord’s commission to us is to go to those not in relationship with Him to demonstrate and explain His good news in a way they can experience and understand. (Matthew 23-11, 20:26-28, James 1:27)

Section 10 - Blessed Hope

Jesus is coming again to gather all His Saints to be with Him for eternity. (Corinthians, 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Section 11 - Separation from God

(a) “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this, the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)

(b) Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will at their death experience eternal separation from the Godhead. Anyone whose names are not found written in the Book of Life will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. (Revelation 19:20, 20:10-15)

Article Three - Membership

The Corporation shall have only one (1) class of membership, members of the Board of Trustees, whom shall be voting members.
